Our Prayer

Our Prayer

Heavenly Father, I know that I have sinned against You and that my sins separate me from You. I am truly sorry. I now want to turn away from my sinful past and turn to You for forgiveness. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your Son, Jesus Christ, died for my sins, that He was raised from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become my Savior and the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You and to convict me when I sin. I pledge to grow in grace and knowledge of You. My greatest purpose in life is to follow Your example and do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Class Lesson May 29, 2011

Hey Gang,

This Sunday, May 29th we will not be having our regular Sunday school time. Instead, we will all gather at Heritage Park for our Freedom Weekend Aloft Worship! Church in its technical meaning "refers to the gathering of the faithful rather than to the building in which it takes place." So we are looking forward to gathering with you, our church, and any friends that you bring along with you.

Here are some details to help as you make plans to come.

  • Heritage Park Amphitheater - 10:30am - Rain or Shine
  • Gates open at 9:00am. Parking & Admission are FREE until 10:45am.
  • Park in the large, grass lot at the Main Street Entrance to Heritage Park. Shuttles will be available, but it is a pleasant walk to the amphitheater.
  • Bring a lawn chair.
  • Sit with your family & friends. No childcare is provided.
  • No outside food or drinks are allowed into the park.
  • Bring CASH to purchase your tickets for food and drinks. Vendors only accept CASH.
  • An offering will be collected during the worship time. Envelopes and checks will be handled as normal. Any cash and coins collected will go to disaster relief.
  • Aaron Keyes Concert will begin at 1:00pm (Note change).

In two weeks we will resume our normal class period and begin a new 4-week series entitled “Put Possessions in Perspective.
May 30th Memorial Day Weekend 2011, for some, is the perfect time for friends and family to honor loved ones who have served their country. Below is a beautiful tribute for your remembrance of those who have fallen in service to our country.
